Information

Editorial standards

Clear sources, useful explanations and honest limits.

Sources first

Use health boards, councils, NHS Wales and the original service provider for factual information. Local directories provide starting points, not endorsements. Confirm availability and arrangements directly before making commitments.

Dates have different meanings

An updated date records an edit to this guide. A source-review date records the retained substantive source check and does not promise that services or availability remain unchanged. Powys material was retained from the 18 October 2026 handover research; selected key sources were rechecked on 19 October. A full source-by-source refresh remains part of ongoing editorial maintenance.

Independent interpretation

Practical suggestions are distinguished from employer instructions. The site does not publish internal clinical pathways, confidential workforce plans or personal staff contacts as public orientation material.

Corrections

Reports of errors are reviewed against original sources. Material corrections should identify what changed and when. Suggestions do not appear automatically on the website.
