Information

Privacy notice

How this public release handles information when you browse or contact the editor.

Responsibility and contact

Dr Naeem Aziz is responsible for this independent resource and for personal information sent to its editor. Contact editor@sasdoctors.com with “Working in Wales privacy” in the subject.

Public browsing

This release has no reader accounts, newsletter registration, contact form or application analytics. Its content database stores guide material, not visitor profiles. It does not collect patient records or staff induction records.

Search and checklists

Search is performed in your browser against a public index. Search words are not sent to an application search service or stored in our database. Search terms may appear in your browser address and history. Arrival-checklist ticks are temporary page state, are not submitted, and may be lost when you leave or reload. There is no application use of cookies or local storage in this release.

Hosting and security

Cloudflare provides hosting and security. Delivering requests involves technical information such as IP addresses, requested addresses, timestamps and browser information. Provider processing is separate from application analytics. This release does not intentionally log search terms or create individual browsing profiles. Necessary technical processing supports the legitimate interests of delivering and protecting the website.

Email correspondence

Email goes to the existing SAS Doctors Review editorial mailbox and is handled through Microsoft 365. The email address, message and any attachments are used to respond and assess the enquiry. The editorial mailbox’s privacy notice explains its lawful basis, retention and handling arrangements.

Your choices and rights

You may ask about access, correction or deletion of information you have supplied. Other rights may apply depending on the processing. Contact the editor first; you can also raise concerns with the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Retention and processing outside the UK

The website application does not retain raw visitor request logs. Cloudflare may retain technical data under its service arrangements. Editorial email follows the published mailbox policy: routine resolved enquiries are normally deleted within 12 months; records needed for corrections, permissions, complaints or disputes may be retained for up to six years where necessary. Providers may process information outside the UK under their applicable contractual and legal safeguards. Contact the editor for information about the arrangements relevant to your enquiry.

External links and future features

Following a link takes you to a service with its own privacy arrangements. Before staff accounts, analytics or other personal-data features are introduced, this notice will be reviewed and the applicable choices explained.
